Greetings, dear readers!

I'm Peggy, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of IB Monthly, and I'm so proud to present you our bilingual newspaper.

As part of the IB community, I believe it is important for us to support each other. Personally, I love how tight-knit and small-scaled the DYSH IB community is, but the downside is that less active members are even more isolated from the rest of the school. We are the minority of students in DYSH (approximately a 100 students out of the 1500), and as our workloads start accumulating in the rigorous IB Program, it is easy to slowly forget that we all belong to a larger group and not just our individual selves. I hope we can all put in our best efforts to encourage each other, pursue our passions, and reach our potentials as a whole.
